Privacy Policy
The short version. We only need your birth details to calculate your chart. Until you buy a reading, those details stay in your own browser. When you buy, they travel with your order to our payment processor, Stripe, so we can generate your reading. We never see your card number, we don’t use advertising trackers, and we don’t sell your data.

2. What we collect

Birth data is ordinary personal data, but we treat it with care: we don’t combine it with other information about you and we don’t use it for anything other than producing the reading you bought.
3. What stays in your browser
We use your browser’s local storage (not cookies) to remember your language, the birth details you last entered, and the readings you have bought, so you can reopen them without paying again. This data never leaves your device unless you buy a new reading. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
4. Legal bases (EU/UK GDPR)
- Contract: to calculate and deliver the reading you request and buy.
- Legal obligation: to keep order and tax records.
- Legitimate interests: to keep the site secure, prevent fraud and handle disputes.
5. Who we share data with
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Stripe (payments). Stores your payment details, email and order, including your birth details attached to the order. See stripe.com/privacy.
- Our web hosting provider. Serves the website and keeps short technical logs.
- Google Fonts (typefaces). Your browser downloads fonts from Google, which receives your IP address.
We don’t sell or rent personal data, and we don’t share it for advertising. We may disclose data if the law requires it.
6. International transfers
Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where data leaves the EU, EEA or UK, transfers are protected by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard used by those providers.
7. How long we keep it
- Order records, including the birth details attached to them: as long as tax and accounting law requires, usually up to 10 years, then deleted.
- Server logs: kept by our host for a short period, typically no more than 30 days.
- Data in your browser: until you clear it.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent where we rely on it. Email with your Stripe receipt number so we can find your order. We reply within one month. If you are in the EU, EEA or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and we will not treat you differently for exercising your privacy rights.
9. Children
is not directed at children under 16. You must be 18 or older, or have a parent’s permission, to make a purchase. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
The site is served over HTTPS, payments are handled by Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1), and our payment keys are stored only on the server. No system is perfectly secure, so we keep the data we hold to the minimum needed.
11. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. Significant changes will be shown on the site before they take effect.
